"A supple, graceful, understated offering of spicy currant, dried herb, sage, and cedar flavors. Very complete and elegant, ending with black licorice notes and firming tannins."
-J.L.

94 Points
The Tasting Pannel, July 2013

"Bright and juicy with tangy acidity and lush black cherry and blueberry; deep, complex and showing toasty oak and spice; long and balanced."
-A.D.B.

Appearance: Dark Garnet

Aromas: Intense, complex, and layered notes of dark ripe blackberry, dark cherry, earthy forest mineral, and toasty oak finished by subtle undercurrents of tobacco, chocolate, sage, and coffee.

Flavors: This full-bodied wine is bursting with flavors of cassis and currant, which soften into supple, yet textured, layers of dark cherry, peppercorns, and tobacco. A long finish carries subtle hints of violet, vanilla, and chocolate.
